From 3 to 7 June, the product was presented in the two most important pork producing regions: Tepatitlán and Sonora.

The launch was an opportunity to make face to face contact with the customer and understand their needs and concerns in the day to day running of their farms.

On Tuesday (4 June), the product was presented in Tepatitlan (Jalisco) and Thursday 6th in Ciudad Obregon (Sonora). Relevant veterinarians and technicians from major pork producing companies in both regions attended the launch of the product. The event was conducted by the Corporate Swine Manager, who delivered an enlightening lecture on porcine coccidiosis. During the presentation, he discussed in more depth the importance of controlling and preventing swine coccidiosis caused by Isospora suis, an intracellular pathogen, capable of destroying enterocytes in the enteric mucosa of the animal, thereby causing an acute enteric disease (diarrhea) if not treated in time. The veterinary assistants were interested in the economic impact of the disease, which could cause losses of up to 2 kg of live weight in the first 5 weeks of life for the piglet.

Cevazuril® made a great impression on the public due to the distinctive and advantageous features it incorporates compared with products already on the Mexican market. Thus, the excellent quality of its active ingredient, good palatability of the product with a lower salinity than its competitors combined with its exclusive dispensers that allow treatment of a high number of pigs per day in a more comfortable and convenient way, ensures the product will have great potential in the field of Mexican swine production.
