Zen-Noh was founded in 1972 and is based in Tokyo, Japan. It engages in the collection, growing, distribution and marketing of agricultural and livestock products.

Dan Palmer, President of Art's Way Scientific said, "This is our first opportunity to design, construct and install a modular AG building for large Pacific Rim company like Zen-Noh. Our modular swine nursery building is the ideal nurturing environment to get young pigs off to a strong, healthy start and faster growth. This building was a custom designed nursery building that features our controlled animal environment systems, completely cleanable reinforced coating systems and fresh air ventilation all packed into a modular building the size of a typical ocean freight container. The building is located at the Zen-Noh's Central Research Institute for Feed and Livestock at Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, northeast of Tokyo. The building supports their SPF swine research facility. This 'turnkey solution' was designed, built and installed to meet Zen-Noh's requirements and done in considerably less time than a brick and mortar building."

J. Ward McConnell, Jr., Chairman of the Board, said, "We are very pleased to design, construct and install a custom AG building for such a prestigious international company like Zen-Noh. It speaks well to the reputation, quality design and construction of our AG buildings. The business environment in many foreign countries is challenging, but in Japan the expanding middle class is driving growth in the consumer markets especially for quality food products. We have tremendous respect for Zen-Noh and have future in-person meetings and a plant tour planned. This building is small contract, but a very important first small step in the development of a long-term, positive working relationship."
