African Swine Fever Confirmed in Latvia

LATVIA - There have been two new outbreaks of African Swine Fever reported and confirmed in the Strenci and Burtnieki regions of the country.

Two wild boar were found dead, infected with African Swine Fever.

The positive wild boars were found in the already defined African swine fever infected area which has been established in accordance with the EU legislation.

The source of the outbreak is still unknown.
