Six New Outbreaks of African Swine Fever in Latvia

LATVIA - There has been six new outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) reported and confirmed in the Burtnieki, Strenci and Dagda regions of the country.

In total the outbreaks have resulted in 12 cases of ASF and 12 deaths.

The positive wild boars were found in already defined ASF infected areas.

The source of the outbreak is still unknown.
