More ASF and CSF Detected in Latvia

LATVIA - Seven new outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) and one outbreak of classical swine fever (CSF) have been reported in wild boar.

In total, the ASF outbreaks effected 20 wild boar in the north and east of the country along the boarders with Estonia and Russia (pictured below).

Classical swine fever was detected in two wild boar in Skaista parish, Kraslava county.

The wild boars were found in areas that have already reported ASF.
