Two Further Pig Farms Suspected of LA-MRSA
NORWAY - The Norwegian Veterinary Institute has notified the Food Safety Authority (FSA) that two swine herds in Haugalandet are suspected of having LA-MRSA.

By: LA-MRSA was detected in two areas of Haugalandet as part of the FSA's annual monitoring and mapping program, said Hallgeir Herikstad, Regional Director of Agriculture.
Both farms are now facing movement restrictions in and out of the farm until further notice.
