FMD Kills Thousands More Pigs in South Korea

SOUTH KOREA - Sixteen new outbreaks of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) have been reported in South Korea. The outbreaks have led to the destruction of thousands of farmed pigs.

Sixteen outbreaks, all reported in the Chungcheongnam-Do region resulted in 111 cases and the destruction of 15,229 pigs.
