Brazil sets pork export records in first half of 2025
Volume up 17.5%, revenue surges nearly 50% year over yearBrazilian pork exports set new records for both volume and revenue in the first half of 2025, according to data from Secex and reported by Cepea, which has tracked the series since 1997.
From January to June, Brazil shipped 713,400 tonnes of pork—up 17.5% compared to the same period in 2024. June alone saw exports of 135,500 tonnes, the second-highest monthly total on record, just behind July 2024’s 137,000 tonnes.
Revenue from pork exports reached US$1.82 billion (R$9.82 billion) in the first half of 2025, a 49% increase over the same period last year. In June, export revenue totalled US$348 million (R$1.88 billion), up 14.8% from May and 49.4% above June 2024.
