US pork exports to China fell 9% in the first quarter of 2026 to 104,779 metric tons, with value down 20% to $222.9 million, according to data released by USDA and compiled by the US Meat Export Federation (USMEF).

Retaliatory duties and a surge in domestic supplies weighed on shipments.

China remains the largest destination for US pork variety meat exports, which account for more than 70% of total shipments to the market.
