Print This Page Support for Animal Proteins in Pig Diets
EU - Support for the carefully controlled reintroduction of animal proteins (meat and bonemeal) in animal feeds is to be found in Vion Food Group's annual report."Research has shown that, under strict conditions, there is wide public support for this. In terms of sustainability, the use of animal proteins in poultry and pig feed within the European Union will make a tangible contribution to people, animals and the environment," says the company, which employs 35,500 people and had an annual turnover of over £8 billion last year.
