Sindirações Has New President
BRAZIL - After six years as president of Sindirações, Mario Sergio Cutait has passed the baton to MaurÃcio Nacif Faria of Agroceres.Maurício Nacif Faria, director superintendent for Agroceres, is the new president of Sindirações, the National Feed Industry Association, reported Feed & Food Online.
Mario Sergio Cutait was the association's president for six years. Mr Cutait now will focus his completely with M. Cassab, which specialises in animal nutrition and health. However, he will remain Sindirações consultant and president of Feed Latina, a Latin American organization that he helped found.
Mario Sergio Cutait was one of the creators of the international conference 'Global Feed & Food' in 2005 in conjunction with the FAO/UN and IFIF. This event, for the animal protein production industries, has just completed its third edition this year in Cancun, Mexico.
Maurício Nacif Faria is an agricultural engineer who began with Agroceres in 1989 with the poultry breeding programme. In 1990, he became manager of pig genetics. In 1994, he coordinated the general marketing of branded products, at that time known as the Animal Division. In 1996, with the administrative reorganisation of the company, he went on to lead the Animal Nutrition unit, a position he still holds today.
