October is National Pork Month: Zoetis Pork highlights efforts of Christensen Farms

Zoetis honors Christensen Farms in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota

Christensen Farms is proud to support veterans, and last year on Veterans Day, they were excited to donate hams for their Thanksgiving meals in the Lakota, IA region! This initiative is in support of Hunting with Heroes, a non-profit organization focused on the healing of our nation’s military heroes through community support, camaraderie and hunting in the rural communities of Iowa.

Christensen Farms representatives volunteered alongside Lakota Hunting with Heroes, giving a total of 300, ten-pound Daily’s Premium Meats hams to very deserving veterans. The hams were a part of a wonderful meal box with all the fixing for a delicious Thanksgiving meal. Overall, that equated to 3,000 pounds of pork raised and provided to area veterans by Christensen Farms alone. Zoetis is proud to support the Hunting with Heroes organization with a $1,000 donation.
