Hog Outlook: Last Week Fabulous for Hog Prices
US - It has been a fabulous week for hog prices. The national average negotiated carcass price for direct delivered hogs on the morning report today was $98.03/cwt, up $9.66 from last Friday, up $15.49 from two weeks ago, and up $27.60 from a year ago, according to Ron Plain and Scott Brown in their "Hog Outlook" report for 28 February 2014.
