Nutritional Values of Oilseed Meals as Part of a Pig Diet Established

US - Oilseed meals are commonly fed to pigs and poultry as sources of protein. The concentration and digestibility of amino acids in oilseed meals has been studied, but these ingredients supply other nutrients in the diet as well. Now researchers at the University of Illinois are providing a more complete picture of the nutritional value of oilseed meals.
