Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance in Swine E. coli, Pasteurella multocida and Streptococcus suis Isolates from Ontario
Clusters of increased multiple-class antibiotic resistance have been found in Pasteurella bacteria in pigs in Ontario, Canada in the spring of 2004 by researchers at the University of Guelph. They linked this with an outbreak of porcine circovirus disease in the autumn of that year.
