Dead animal disposal - Manitoba Agriculture and Food.
In Canada, disposal of dead livestock must be in accordance with section 15 of the Livestock Manure and Mortalities Management Regulation (Appendix B). This regulation specifies mortalities must be kept in a secure storage location or room. If not disposed of within 48 hours of the time of death, mortalities must be refrigerated or frozen.
