Feeding DDGS to Finishing Pigs

Mark Honeyman (Professor of Animal Science), Dave Stender (extension field specialist) Wayne Roush (farm superintendent) and Don Hummel (agricultural specialist) of Iowa State University published this report as an Iowa State University Animal Industry Report 2008. They observed good performance and carcass quality with a diet containing 20 per cent distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) but 40 per cent DDGS resulted in soft fat.
