U.S. Soy will host live demonstrations of its Feed4Profit economic modeling tool during World Pork Expo in Des Moines, Iowa, offering pork producers and nutritionists a hands-on opportunity to evaluate feeding strategies based on profitability rather than formulation alone.

Held June 3–4, at the U.S. Soy hospitality tent (#G520), the Feed4Profit demonstrations will highlight how the publicly available online tool helps users analyze ingredient costs, model pig performance and forecast financial outcomes over time.

Feed4Profit is designed to go beyond traditional feed formulation by allowing users to compare feeding programs using different ingredients, assess performance responses and project feed costs and income over a 12-month period based on forward price estimates.

“The Feed4Profit tool supports data-driven decision-making aimed at improving margin per pig,” said Dr. Nathan Augspurger, vice president, Animal Nutrition and Health at the United Soybean Board. “Come to our tent, talk to our expert nutritionists and learn how to mitigate the summer carcass dip as well as other feeding strategies that address net energy and health-challenged pig flows.”
